WEBFLOW INTEGRATION

Add a calculator to Webflow

Drag in an Embed element, paste, publish. The calculator sizes itself to whatever container you put it in, so it behaves like the rest of your layout.

How it works

  1. 01
    Build it

Start from a template or a blank canvas and add the questions, formulas and results you want.

  2. 02
    Publish

Press Publish and copy the embed snippet.

  3. 03
    Paste it into Webflow

Into an HTML block, as described above.

Where the snippet goes

  • Drag an Embed element onto the canvas where the calculator should go, and paste the snippet into it.
Watch out

The Designer shows a placeholder rather than the calculator itself — that is normal for any embed. Use Preview or the published site to see the real thing.

Put the Embed element inside a container with a max-width if you want the calculator to match the width of the text around it. It fills whatever space it is given.

What you get

Nothing to install

There is no plugin, app or extension to install. The snippet is the whole integration. Nothing is added to your Webflow site, so there is nothing to update and nothing to conflict with.

It fits the space it is given

The frame reports its height as the visitor moves through the calculator, so you never have to guess a height or leave a gap under it.

Republish and every copy updates

Change a price or a formula and every page you pasted it into shows the new version. You do not go back and edit those pages.

Or skip the embed entirely

Every calculator also has a full-page link of its own, so you can send it in an email or put it behind a button without embedding anything.

Questions

Why can I not see it in the Designer?

Webflow renders embeds as a placeholder in the Designer. Switch to Preview, or publish, and it appears normally.

Does it need custom code in project settings?

No. Everything is in the one Embed element. Nothing goes in the head or body tags of your project settings.

Can I style it to match my site?

Yes, but in the builder rather than in Webflow: colours, typeface, spacing and button shapes are set in the theme panel, and Google Fonts are available so it can match your Webflow typography.

Does it work on a free Webflow site?

Yes. Embed elements are available on all plans, including Webflow's free staging domain.
