LEAD GENERATION

Calculators that capture leads

A contact form asks for something and gives nothing back. A calculator gives somebody a number they wanted — what the job will cost, what they would save — and asking for an email in return is a fair exchange rather than a toll.

How it works

  1. 01
    Build the calculator

Whatever your customers actually want to know: a price, a saving, a size, a repayment.

  2. 02
    Add lead capture

Drop in name, email and phone fields wherever they belong — before the results, after them, or at a chosen step.

  3. 03
    Decide whether to gate

Show the results freely, or hold them back until the details are given. Gated results never reach the browser before they are earned.

  4. 04
    Send them where you work

Email, a Google Sheet, your CRM by webhook, or all three at once.

What you get

Qualified, not just captured

You do not only get an email address. You get every answer they gave and every figure calculated — roof size, budget, timescale — so you know who is worth calling first.

Gate the result, honestly

When results are gated, the figures are not sent to the browser at all until the form is submitted. There is nothing to read in the page source, which is not true of most gated tools.

Straight into your CRM

Every submission can be posted to a webhook as signed JSON. Zapier, Make and most CRMs accept one directly, so leads arrive where your team already looks.

Send them their result

The visitor can be emailed a copy, or a PDF built from your own Google Doc. A quote with your letterhead on it converts better than a number on a screen.

Every lead kept

Submissions are stored in your account and exportable, on every plan, with no cap on how many you collect.

Questions

Should I make people give their email to see the result?

It depends on the price of the thing. For a large purchase — a roof, a solar system — people accept it. For a quick figure they can estimate themselves, gating usually costs more visitors than it gains leads. You can change your mind without rebuilding.

Can the result be hidden until they submit?

Yes, and properly. The formulas and figures for gated results are not sent to the browser until the form is submitted, so nobody can read them out of the page source.

Where do the leads go?

They are stored in your account, and can at the same time be emailed to you, emailed to the visitor, posted to a webhook, and appended as a row to a tab of a connected Google Sheet.

Is there a limit on leads?

No. Every plan includes unlimited submissions. The plans differ only in how many calculators you can have.
